Higueruelas is located in the northern part of the province of Valencia in the region of the Highlands (la Serranía) and belongs to the legal territory of Lliria. It has a surface area of 18.80 km2 at an altitude of 725 meters and borders the municipalities of Villar, Domeño, Calles, Chelva and Andilla. The village is situated in the extreme northwestern part of the municipal territory at the foot of the famous mountain “Peñas de Dios”.

Higueruelas has 540 inhabitants but this number grows during the weekends and in holidays.

Surrounded by hills and mountains with altitudes of between 600 and sometimes more than 1000 meters. This all offers a splendid landscape.

Located 60 km from Valencia and its airport and beaches, connected by the motorway Ademuz - Valencia.
